27 Weeks

~ It happened, no more pre pregnancy pants for me
~ I am one cranky Momma these days
~ Sleeping is uncomfortable
~ I have ZERO patience
~ She kicks a lot, A LOT
~ I have no new stretch marks
~ Indigestion is a killer
~ I am exhausted
~ I can't wait to meet her

I know this list sounds negative, and I acknowledge this, but these are my feelings these days.  I don't like women who make pregnancy out to sound like it is just Heaven day in and day out.  That is bull.  Pregnancy IS beautiful but also messy at the same time.

This is the truth folks.

Week 20

I am 20 weeks and got to find out what we are having.  A GIRL!

I don't want to forget some things about this pregnancy, so here I go with stuff:

~ I actually am enjoying this pregnancy
~ It started out really rough (basically the first 12 weeks)
~ I am smaller with this pregnancy than my previous two
~ I LOVE spicy food this time
~ I am exercising this time which I certainly did not do the first two times
~ I gained a lot in 20 weeks and that has me worried about the next 20
~ I am smaller even though I have gained a lot = I think that's weird
~ Tristan has said the whole time he wanted a little sister
~ He knew before we did that it was a girl
~ Aiden keeps saying "baby brover/sister"; It's both to him, not one or the other
~ Tristan and Aiden LOVE to sit on my lap and feel their baby
~ Honey felt her for the first time when I was about 17 weeks
~ I felt her much earlier than that and didn't write it down :-(
~ This pregnancy is right in front and not all over
~ I have gotten numerous compliments this pregnancy about looking cute or small (which is nice)
~ Tristan got to tell our families that he was going to be a big brother
~ This pregnancy is going by super fast...SUPER FAST
~ I have a different OB/GYN this time
~ My due date is Sept 10
~ Everybody thought this was a girl
~ I love Dr. Pepper (I always have) but REALLY love it now
~ I can't get enough of sweet stuff: candy, cake, cookies
~ She sits low like Tristan did
~ Honey can hear her heartbeat in my tummy with his own ears

Second Trimester

I made it.  I am past the dreaded first trimester and into the second.  I can honestly say that this time around wasn't as bad as the first two pregnancy first trimesters.  Got that? ha.  I was sick only for a short time, about 3 weeks, and still fit into my pants at 14 weeks with my third pregnancy.  I am quickly outgrowing them but oh well.  I am sticking out much more with this one but it sits high instead of low.

My hormones are settling down some.  Some being the key word.  I am much more positive about life again and things in general.  I was pretty low there for awhile.  I seem to be on the mend though!!  Praise God for that.

I look forward to this spring.  I used to think that winter was my favorite season but not anymore.  I love, LOVE, love me some spring.  Green colors come back into view, fresh herbs in my garden, fresh veggies as well, flowers bloom, my roses are gorgeous, and life just seems to take in a breath of FRESH air.  aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Tristan starts soccer soon.  He is Karate and seems to be doing extremely well.  He loves it and it is something all his own.  Aiden isn't doing it with him.  Aiden also won't be doing soccer.  He is still too young.  Julian and I are planning more get togethers with friends.  We plan on spending quality time together to strengthen our friendship, marriage, & bond.  I feel that no matter how awesome you think your relationship is, it can always be better.  I see more trips in this year.  Oh how I am looking forward to all this.

This second trimester brought back my energy as well.  I was so exhausted.  I didn't want to do anything. ANYTHING.  I stopped cooking, cleaning, running errands, working out!  You name it, I quit it.  But now I am excited to cook again, to clean again (okay, maybe not clean again but excited to have a clean house), garden again (depending on the heat and these darn mosquitos), and just be part of life again.

Life is good and I am super excited about this year and all the surprises it will bring!!
